Maundy Quintet
Left to Right, Bernie Leadon, Barry Scurran, Don, Tom Laughon and
"Boomer" Hough.
While growing up in Gainesville, Don was in a few local bands. The two most well know of these bands was The Continentals (which
included Stephen Stills) which would later evolve into The Maundy Quintet which included another future Eagle Bernie Leadon. Here are a couple songs from the Maundy Quintet.

Interesting Facts:
The band's motto was, "The Maundy Quintet, Plays for
Quiliting Bees, Funerals and Wild Parties"
No one in the band was named Maundy when the song
writing credits say 'Maundy' it means that everyone in the
band contributed to the song.
'I'm Not Alone' went to #1 on WGGG in Gainesville, Florida
